It's unique twin-boom and central nacelle (for the cockpit) design gave it great stability and maneuverability at higher speeds than other planes offered...

Engineering Faster Planes

A colleague and I collaborated to create visual aides for a video to accompany a story about Clarence “Kelly” Johnson, an influential figure in aerospace engineering.

Based on the script, I drew and digitized components that were interspersed throughout the video. They were then animated to go along with the script and photographs. The final piece was picked up widely across airplane enthusiasts communities, and has over 130,000 views.

Millions of consumers are affected by cybercrime each year, and for a variety of reasons companies have not been able to stay ahead of cyber criminals. Enter Quadmetrics, a company developed by Michigan engineers that predicts with up to ninety percent accuracy how a given company will be exploited by cyber criminals.

QuadMetrics Cybersecurity

QuadMetrics is a cyber security company that developed software to monitor and thwart web hacking. To explain the technology for a broader audience, a videographer reached out to me to illustrate visuals for a short video.

After we brainstormed some ideas, I illustrated pieces for each scene. To keep the video cohesive, I also developed a simple color palette.
