Nike Editorial page - UWAW
Prompt: Content updates and refreshes throughout Nike.com’s website.
My role on the team was to organize and build content from specialists, producers, copy writers, designers, and merchandisers to timed product and event launches. Attention to detail is vital as my position has the last look before anything publishes on the site. I made sure images were sized correctly, copy was accurate and without errors, and that links are functional through a thorough quality assurance process.
Although I worked on many different pages, I chose to highlight this editorial page because it was a rare opportunity to build a page from the ground up. The designer and I worked closely to align her designs with the content management system’s boundaries. The typography was a particularly interesting challenge and required pushing the CMS tool in a new way. There were components that weren’t functioning as expected which required me to think creatively and offer alternative solutions. Outside of the technical accomplishment, the content told incredible, uplifting stories and it was exciting to help share them.
